Question for your pondering: have you ever glimpsed a sunset sky so majestically awe-inspiring that you simply had to stop what you were doing to keep looking at it? Or a monarch butterfly? Or a bird? Or a mountain? Or a tree? If you claim “no”, go back to the home page and navigate to the Instant Change section of this website so we can Instant Change some Nature into your life! (Kidding, I’m kidding…) But if you say “yes” and you have experienced any one of those things, I propose to you that you are in such moments experiencing not just the beauty and wonder of the world, you are experiencing that beauty and wonder directly through the perfectly designed and phenomenally miraculous chemical reactions in your brain that are a) allowing your eyes to perceive the vision and b) allowing your neuronal networks (spanning several regions of your brain) to facilitate a positive emotional experience of that vision. So it really is good for your mental, psychological, and biological health on a physiological level to “stop and smell the flowers”. And while it’s true I haven’t quite figured out how to get you a flower smell through this web page to the device of choice from which you view this page–I’ll let you know when I figure that one out 😉–it is my hope that you will at least be able view something here that speaks rest… or awe… or beauty… or wonder or any other emotion that helps your soul breathe and your spirit soothe, in perhaps a similar way that capturing these photos and creating the corresponding doodles did for me.

As you browse, you’ll notice several renditions of the same Doodle or the same Nature Made photo in different colors, textures, and styles that I have included with the acknowledgement that art is a very subjectively personal experience. So, while all the renditions present have found favor with me in some way, I present to you that selection which allows for different variants of the same picture to speak to whichever expression, essence or resonance most prominently speaks to you.
